• Temple of Mother India • Symbol of National Unity
Bharat Mata Mandir is a unique nationalistic temple located in Varanasi. Unlike traditional temples, it does not contain an idol of a deity. Instead, it houses a large marble relief map of undivided India, representing the country as a sacred motherland. The temple stands as a symbol of patriotism, unity, and cultural pride.
Bharat Mata Mandir was inaugurated in 1918 by Mahatma Gandhi. It was established during the Indian freedom movement to inspire a sense of nationalism and unity among the people.
