About Durga Mandir Durgakund

The Durga Mandir at Durgakund is one of the most sacred temples of Varanasi, dedicated to Goddess Durga. Built in the 18th century by the Queen of Bengal, Rani Bhabani, the temple is known for its stunning red color and unique North Indian (Nagara) architectural style.

The temple stands beside a large sacred pond called Durgakund, which adds to the spiritual charm of the place.
